Dr. Eckart Ruschmann

Dr. Eckart Ruschmann has been working as a consultant and trainer in counseling for many years. Due to his double major in philosophy and psychology, his perspective has always been focused on existential themes (questions of meaning and life orientation).
In 2002, he obtained his habilitation in philosophy with a thesis on “Philosophical Counseling” at the University of Klagenfurt. In this work, he elaborated and deepened a conceptual framework for understanding, which was developed by Elisa Ruschmann in the psychological-psychotherapeutic context, based on the person-centered approach (Carl R. Rogers) and grounded in results of general psychological and clinical psychological basic research.
